THE FOLLY OF THE DEMOCRATIC ELITE
Markos Moulitsis is the honcho of Daily Kos. I used to blog there and follow others who did. That is until last summer during the Democratic primary when Markos, who is a rabid Hillary partisan, announced that he was pivoting the site toward the general election and made it off limits for anyone who was not pro-Clinton. No democracy there!
Well today, Markos published a piece entitled "Morons Who Voted for Republicans Now Worry They Will Take Away Their Health Care--As Promised". I guess I should not be surprised. I have heard Moulitsis' rants on Mark Thompson's show on Sirius/XM Progress 127 channel. But here he clearly exposes himself as a naive liberal elite wannabe, demeaning working class voters by labeling them "morons" while giveng no credence to the real motivation behind their choice. The very force that cost the Democrats the election eludes this literate, erudite, supposedly politically savvy publisher. Be it arrogance, ignorance or denial, Democrat apologists such as Moulitsis are doing their party and the country a grave disservice by not acknowledging the message sent by the voters. By dismissing the grievances of the working class these hacks only aggravate the public dissatisfaction and further alienate voters from the Democratic Party. They accuse the voters of going against their best interests, but these elitist Dems, having disavowed the woking class since Bill Clinton's presidency and continuing to trash them today are making the very mistake that they allege.
